PUTRAJAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) will cut electricity rates for the first time in more than a decade, by an average of 3.7 per cent, as fuel prices decline.
The tariff revision, effective March 1, comes just over seven months after the government raised electricity prices by as much as 24 per cent.
Malaysian households will see electricity bills reduced by an average of 2.54 per cent, while offices and factories' electricity bills will be reduced by an average of 2.7 per cent and five per cent respectively. more at Straits Times
